Inkyu Sa is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering, Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Autonomous Systems Lab., ETH Zurich, Switzerland, since 2016th
Before coming to ETH Zurich, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Robotics and Autonomous Systems within the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Queensland University of Technology, Australia, since 2015. Doctor of Philosophy which conferred upon him by School of Electrical Engineering and computer Science at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) under the supervision of Professor Peter Corke (2014).
Prior to QUT, he received a BS degree (2002) in Information and Communication Engineering, and his MS degree (2006) in Electrical Engineering from Sung Kyun Kwan University, South Korea.
He worked at Samsung Electronics mobile platform department for 3 years (2006-2009) as a software engineer in South Korea.
His research interests are visual servoing for different types of robotic platforms (UAV, UGV) and fruit / weed detection using vision techniques.
